Two competition categories:

Bible Quiz - June 16th

Memory Verse - June 23rd

Both categories cover the same books of the Bible, for all age levels

Levels 1 and 2 will compete in each competition verbally; levels 3 to 8 will compete in written format

The preferred version for the Memory Verse competition is NKJV, though other versions can be used. Bible Quiz competition will be based on the NKJV text.
Age levels (follows PYCD format):
- Level 1: Ages 5 and under
- Level 2: Ages 6-8
- Level 3: Ages 9-11
- Level 4: Ages 12-14
- Level 5: Ages 15-17
- Level 6: Ages 18-20
- Level 7: Ages 21-25
- Level 8: Ages 26 and older
Memory Verse competition - June 23rd:
Any or all of the books listed for each level can be memorized for this competition. Please note the following:
- Level 1 and Level 2 participants should provide a list of the verses to be recited.
- Participants in Level 3 and above are required to include the full verse reference for each verse they write; eg 'Matt 24:1'. However, subsequent verses of the same chapter can be prefixed with '24:2', '24:3', etc.
The participant in each level who completes the most verses correctly (without omissions and incorrect references), will be determined the winner.
- Level 1: Any verses; no book restrictions (verbal)
- Level 2: Psalms only (verbal)
- Level 3: Matthew, Colossians
- Level 4: 1-2 Kings, Philippians, Galatians
- Level 5: Ecclesiastes, Jonah, Joel, Hebrews
- Level 6: Joshua, Judges, 1-3 John, Ephesians
- Level 7: Deuteronomy, 1-2 Samuel, John, Romans
- Level 8: Genesis, Job, Acts, 1-2 Corinthians
Quiz competition - June 16th:
For each level, quiz questions presented in multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and short-answer formats, can come from any of the books listed above.
- Level 2: 30 general Bible questions (verbal)
- Levels 3 to 8: same books as Memory Verse competition
- NOTE: there is no level 1 for quiz competition
